anxiety is the dizziness of freedom.

Life is not meant to be lived in constant anxiety, panic, or fear. Maybe you find yourself making daily decisions based on the threat of anxiety symptoms occurring. Or maybe you cannot get through a week without a panic attack. Maybe it is constant indecision or social shyness, an inability to sleep, or repetitive behaviors, racing thoughts, worry, irrational fears… anxiety can take many forms, but they all keep you from living a free and healthy life.

We would like to help you or your child learn how to control anxious tendencies, whether they have been life-long or triggered by a recent event. In therapy you will identify automatic thoughts that contribute to your anxiety, learn techniques for calming your mind and body, challenge thought patterns, and work toward personal therapeutic goals.
Therapy has been proven extremely effective in helping people deal with and overcome anxiety symptoms. Starting therapy is itself anxiety-provoking, but maybe invite a support person to ride along to your first appointment or plan a rewarding activity for after your session. It takes a first step in order to walk a new path. Call or send a message to inquire about scheduling your first session.
